BEST OF THE NORTHWEST 2013 TOUR
LATER THAN USUAL Screened at EOFF on March 1, 2013 and is now part of the Best of the 39th Northwest Filmmaker's Festival touring program in the USA.
The screening of the film on February 12, 2013 was a resounding success, playing to a full house at the Northwest Film Center's Whitsell Auditorium at the Portland Art Museum.
LATER THAN USUAL
is an official selection of the Fresno Film Festival.

Anna Teghararian has had a long and busy life. A bon vivante, she loves life and partying even at eighty-six. She has psychic talents as well. She has acted in several major film and TV productions in the past.
Antranik Teghararian is 92 years old. He is an Arch-Deacon at the Armenian Apostolic Church and a survivor of the Armenian Genocide.
Goody Del Arosa is a care-worker at a senior’s lodge and dabbles in hairdressing on the side.

Initially the film was a study about aging and the inevitable. During rehearsal shoots it became apparent that the relationship between the characters of the Woman and the Man, with one’s intolerance and the other’s indifference, were to be the focal point of the film. The script was modified and scenes were altered and shot accordingly.
The film was shot over three intense days.
